This is a faithful recreation of the “Big Baby” shotgun used by Hellboy in the movie, and it comes fully equipped with removable toy shells. Another bonus would be having it play some music whenever you wind it up, comprising of Lullaby and Goodnight before you put demons to sleep - permanently. After long hours of gaming or browsing the net, it can make your arm a bit uncomfortable.  With carpul tunnel being such a major fear for those that make their living on the computer, a rest like this might help.  I know after finishing my daily dose of blogging I like to mess with a little computer gaming.  Which puts me in front of the computer even longer.  This rest would keep your arm at a comfortable angle the whole time and prevent you from holding your arm at any bad angles.

OCZ has introduced yet another keyboard to the already crowded gaming market, this time round it will be the Elixir hoping to make an impact. Hailing from the Alchemy range, the Elixir keyboard toes the line with a mid-range gaming peripheral without having you break the bank for it. For just $29.99, you get a pretty healthy amount of features such as ten tri-way programmable macro keys (effectively providing up to 30 in total), media player controls and a pop-up shortcut menu. The keys are coated with rubber to ensure that they won’t fail even with the most sweaty fingers in the house. Of course, OCZ has not forgotten all about ergonomics either as you will be able to spend long hours with the Elixir without feeling any cramps.

by Paul Miller, posted Jul 13th 2008 at 3:45AM var Word on the street was that the $299 price slash we’ve been hearing about wasn’t about carving out a new pricepoint but instead making room for a new 60GB Xbox 360 in its place. Turns out the Mr. Word on the Street nailed this one, with Microsoft finally fessing up to the price drop, and announcing a new fancy 60GB Xbox 360 to fill in at that $349 pricepoint, which will be available in “early August.” You can pick up a 20GB “while supplies last,” but the $279 Arcade and $449 Elite aren’t budging price wise. Oh, and can we just say that this couldn’t come at any better a time? We just had to delete August Rush to make room for National Treasure 2, which we’ll probably have to drop tomorrow for Fool’s Gold. Such is life when you’ve only got 20GB to work with.

Yeah, we know pixel count doesn’t equal picture quality — but like it or not, it looks like 8 megapixels are poised to become the new 5 megapixels in the upper echelon of the cameraphone world this year. Samsung’s never a company to shy away from a challenge like that, and sure enough, details are emerging on a so-called i8510 smartphone that features S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, FM radio, GPS, WiFi, and a whopping 16GB of internal storage — not to mention a microSD slot that can take you up to 24GB. Oh, and there’s the little matter of that camera, which features an dual LED flash and 120fps video capture at QVGA resolution. Add in DivX and DLNA certification, and we’re kind of at a loss to figure out what’s missing here. Boundless, unchecked hype, maybe? No word on a release date here just yet.

I can remember when I used to live at home with my parents in high school. I was blessed to be one of those people who could fall asleep easily. Unfortunately, I was cursed when it came to waking up. My mother would hear the alarm clock going off, but a lot of the time, it either took me several minutes to be awoken from the noise, or I wouldn’t wake up at all and she would have to come in there and jostle me around. The Screaming Meanie 220 is for people like me, the geeks who just can’t wake up!

This cool looking alarm clock has three different volume settings on it. The lowest is 70 decibels which is like an average alarm clock. The medium level is bumped up to 95 decibels. That level is said to wake up most heavy sleepers. The highest volume level it will go to is 120 decibels. This is horribly loud and can be heard up to a mile away. Just imagining that level next to my bed makes me think that you probably won’t just hear it, you might feel it too. Whether you are a heavy sleeper or hard of hearing, this alarm clock should work for you!

Hints of a new series of Vaio’s have now been confirmed. According to the Sony Style website, Sony plans to release a fresh new series of Vaio laptops this Monday, July 14th. Unofficially, last week, Sony had leaked the specs of various laptops like their SR, FW, and Z series models. Though, no one knew exactly when Sony planned on releasing these details more, well, “officially.” Hopefully this teaser is providing exactly what we’ve been looking for. It’s leaks like these that keep us on the edge of our chairs, Sony.

Looks like Movie Gallery finally got something for the assortment of PBS bandwidth and spare parts remaining from the now-defunct MovieBeam service. The new owner is Indian conglomerate The Valuable Group, headed by Sanjay Gaikwad who apparently thinks serving up a remarkably limited assortment of heavily compressed HD and SD movies on demand is an idea that deserves to fail all over the world, instead of just in the U.S. Since $100 million burned up by Disney and others wasn’t enough to make things work, he plans to invest a similar amount over the next two years to relaunch the service in North America, the U.K. and “other overseas markets”. Variety notes The Valuable Group already delivers movies digitally to India and South Asian theaters via satellite so maybe they know something we don’t about this business model, and with plans to roll out service in three markets with “new, cutting edge features” by year end we’ll get to find out soon.

Hey you — you looking for a quarter of the ipod touch experience for a little less than a quarter of the price? Yeah? Well, how does dropping $73 on the depressingly derivative Teclast M26 grab you? Seriously, this thing looked like it had a glimmer of potential when it was first announced, so it’s kind of sad to see it getting priced like the throwaway crap it turned out to be — we should definitely know better by now.
