We cannot seem to get enough of the FCC leaks, next up is the Sony Ericsson Z555, which has just hit the FCC for approval. In case you’ve forgotten, the Z555 was unveiled alongside a slew of new Sony Ericsson phones back at CES 2008 in Las Vegas. Its key features include an embedded OLED screen on top of its exterior flap that shows the time, among other things, and it also supports gesture-based controls via an accelerometer, enabling a user to silence an incoming call (or ignore it entirely) just by shaking the handset. It also includes a 1.3-megapixel camera, FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and a Memory Stick Micro slot. As you can see, the Z555 is a pretty basic phone. And it is—it’s pretty, AND it’s basic.
