I’m still a renter, so I don’t have the luxury of picking out what smoke detectors I get to rely on. I really wish I did, because I hate the ones installed throughout my place. Apparently they’re all connected and if one goes off, they all go off. The only way to get them to stop is to remove the batteries and disconnect each and every one from the wall.
